Hey everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer. And today we have the Saris Bones EX trunk mounted bike rack, and we're gonna take a look at how it fits our 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee. So if you're looking for a way to carry around your bikes, but maybe you don't have a hitch, can't have a hitch, don't have a roof rack, don't want a roof rack, but you still want something that carries those bikes around, well, this might be the video for you. Thule Passage Trunk Mounted Bike Rack Review - 2016 Jeep Compass- Video
Today I got a 2016 Jeep Compass. We'll be doing a test spin of the Thule Passage 2 Bike Carrier, trunk mounted. That part number TH910XT. We already have a bike on our bike rack. Thule Passage Trunk Mounted Bike Rack Review - 2013 Jeep Patriot- Video
Today, on our 2013 Jeep Patriot, we'll be doing a quick test fit of the Thule Passage Trunk-Mounted 2-Bike Rack, part number TH910XT. We'll begin our test fit by placing the rack up onto the rear hatch, or excuse me, the rear bumper. Now, the bottom portion of the rack does need to be placed on the upper tier of the rear bumper here, and then we'll just make sure that the rack is centered onto the back windshield. Then the first thing I'm going to do is just use the top hooks and clip them to the top part of the rear hatch. This is just going to help make sure that the racks stay in place while I continue to move around the rack and install the other clips. Now, I'm not going to tighten these all the way. I'm just going to get them nice and snug, again, just to help me keep them in place. Now, the side strap and the bottom strap is all connected, so I'm going to do the side first, then come down, and actually I'm going to do the bottom. more

Thule Archway Trunk Mount Bike Rack Review - 2013 Jeep Patriot- Video
Today on our 2013 Jeep Patriot we'll be test fitting the Thule Archway Truck Mounted 2-Bike Rack, part number TH9009XT. We'll begin our test fit by placing the bike rack up onto the upper tier of the rear bumper. You just want to double check and make sure that the pads are fitting right onto the bumper. Switch this one around just a little bit just to make sure it sits right. The pads are kind of elongated so if you don't have them sitting right, the rack is going to be kind of crooked and you don't' want that. Then what we'll do is we're going to take the top straps and hook them to the top part of the hatch. We'll tighten it just a little bit. more

Thule Passage Trunk Mounted Bike Rack Review - 2012 Jeep Liberty- Video
Today on our 2012 Jeep Liberty well be test fitting the Thule Passage two bike carrier part #: TH910XT. To begin our test fit well place the bike rack up against our cargo door and adjust it as necessary. The fit guide for this vehicle does say to set the fit dial to 11. With that done well go ahead and place the bike rack against the door and bring the two top straps up and hook them to the cargo door just behind the roof here on the roof line. Well then take the remaining four straps and hook one side of the strap to the side of the cargo door, here just above the taillight, and the other side to the cargo door just above the rear bumper fascia. Well then move around the bike rack, tightening up the straps, securing our bike rack to the vehicle. more

Hollywood Racks Expedition Trunk Bike Rack Review - 2012 Jeep Liberty- Video
Today, on our 2012 Jeep Liberty, we'll be test-fitting the Hollywood Racks Expedition, two-bike carrier trunk mount, part number hrf6-2. Now, to begin our test-fit, we'll go ahead and place the trunk mount bike rack against the cargo door. We'll then take the two top hooks, and hook them to the cargo door here at the roof line, just behind the roof. Now, with those two straps in place, we can then work around the other remaining four straps, and hook them to the cargo door. The two side straps will hook to the cargo door, just above the tail lights, and the two lower straps will hook to the cargo door just above the bumper fascia.Now, with all six straps in place, we can go ahead and work around tightening each of the straps evenly to make sure that out bike rack is secured and centered with the vehicle. Now, we've already gone ahead and made sure that we left enough room to swing out our dual arms. more

Hollywood Racks Baja 2 Trunk Bike Rack Review - 2012 Jeep Liberty- Video
Today on our 2012 Jeep Liberty, we'll be test fitting the Hollywood Racks Baja 2-bike carrier trunk mount, part number HRB2. Now to begin our test fit, we'll place our bike rack up against our cargo door, allowing it to rest on the bumper fascia. We'll then take the two top hooks and hook them to the top of the cargo door here just behind the roof. With the two top hooks in place, we can then work around for the remaining four hooks, hooking them to the side of the cargo door here just above the taillight, and to the bottom of the door just above the bumper fascia. With all six hooks in place, we'll work our way around, tightening down the straps in an even pattern to secure the bike rack to the vehicle. With our bike rack secure, we'll now go ahead and fold up the remaining strap, to give us a nice, clean look. more

Yakima QuickBack 2 Bike Rack Review - 2012 Jeep Liberty- Video
Today on our 2012 Jeep Liberty well be test fitting part number Y02621. This is the Yakima Quickback trunk mounted bike rack. Now all well need to do is place our bike rack up against our cargo door. Well then take the two top straps. Well then hook them to the door just behind the roof line. Now well go ahead and pull them snug just to hold the bike rack in place. more
